ALBANUS MUTUKU - DEAN OF STUDENTS

The Dean of Students' office has the general responsibility of taking care of trainees' welfare. The Dean is assisted by the Assistant Dean of Trainees and a team of 1o trainees Council Members from from trainees Body of Governance. The 10 cabinet members are elected democratically as per the Trainees' Council Constitution.

The Office of Dean ensures the trainees are served well balanced meals from the catering services in the Institute. The institute has a nurse and Clinical Officer who provides the trainees with medical care on a 24-hour basis. There are sufficient hostel facilities to ensure the comfort of the trainees while at the Institute.

There is a well established Guidance and Counselling Department which plays a vital role in guiding the trainees in various life issues. We have various movements like YCS, CU, SDA and other defined religious movements which offer spiritual nourishment and promotion of national cohesion.

The Institute has very active clubs and fully functional co-curricular facilities(swimming pool and play grounds) which offer enormous opportunities for trainees to complete favourably with other institutions both regionally and nationally.
